Dead stag beetle Lucanus cervus videos

Sorry this page is a bit gruesome. It shows videos of stag beetles which have been victims of magpies, and in spite of having lost the lower part of their abdomen they are still moving... This is often observed and, fortunately, it doesn't last very long. All videos have been posted in YouTube.
